UCIP savings will be determined once the final project costs have been determined, but a forecast over $1mil and better overall protection for the University.
The University of California, Santa Barbara is now enrolling the UCSB San Joaquin Apartments project into the UCIP Program. The project will include housing of 651 student beds and 10 faculty/staff beds and amenities, and a separate dining facility. The UCIP supports these efforts by bringing significant cost avoidance, forecasted to be $1.5 – $2 million, in addition to superior protection.
