The University of California, Los Angeles has enrolled the Teaching and Learning Center for Health Sciences project into the current phase of the UCIP, or University Controlled Insurance Program.  This project includes construction of a six-story building to house education programs for the David Geffen School of Medicine including, classrooms, teaching labs, a clinical skills center, student study space, and administrative offices.  The UCIP will help by bringing significant savings off the final project cost, forecasted between $740 thousand and $2 million based on initial project estimates, in addition to superior protection.
