Sourcing Technology Update
By the numbers
Live with Single Sign On (SSO)
UCSD, UCSC, and UCSB are now live with single sign on meaning that users from these campuses can move from their SciQuest procurement system directly into Sourcing Director. This is an important milestone in realizing our vision of one integrated procurement technological solution.
SRS Bugs or enhancements
Found a bug or have a request for Sourcing Director? Contact your CPR and ask them to discuss the request to the weekly working group.
Cost Per Quality Point
We continue to work closely with SciQuest to develop a robust cost per quality point selection criteria. As of June 3rd, you now have the ability to import RFx questions to Evaluation as well as the ability to import/export Evaluation questions to adjust question/category weighting.
We are pleased to announce that the following additional mini webinars and quick reference guides are available for:
- Buyer / Supplier Communication
- Recommend and Award
You will also find our SRS Best Practices guide on the Procurement website. The Best Practices guide is a living document that incorporates our standard procurement practices and how they are best accommodated in SRS.
Phase 1b: Contract Director/Repository
On January 31st we held the first Contract Director focus group. All campuses and UCOP were represented as SciQuest walked us through the functionality of Contract Director, our central repository for system-wide contracts. The session generated many interesting questions that we will address with the Contract Director CPR working group over the next five weeks. The working group will review the questions and decide on the system-wide approach to configuring Contract Director and enabling the Contract Repository.
The next Contract Director Focus Group will be held April 3rd where the UC configured Contract Director and Repository will be reviewed. The target go live date for system-wide contracts is June 21st.
